Carolyn Hanley-Tapley began her dance career at the age of 3 at Margaret Leary's School Of Dance in Newburyport, MA. In 1984 she became a dance instructor for Margaret Leary. The following year, she studied Dance at Northern Essex C.C. Subsequently, she became a Dance Instructor at the Newburyport YMCA. In 1987 she studied Ballroom at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and in the same year founded Rap N Tap School Of Dance. From 1991 to 1993, her ballet expertise was utilized at Dance Technics, Newton, NH. Some of Carolyns Accomplishments include: Annual recitals for Rap NTap.Choreographer of Real Things (A Musical Production). Dance Instructor and Choreographer-Frontline Ministries at Mount Monadock, NH-1993. Hip Hop Dance Instructor at Newbury Elementary-2005 and received Numerous High Score Awards for her Tap Routines at Dance Competitions both Regional and National.
Shantell Sabino began her dance career at the age of 3 and studied with Margaret Leary, Alicia Macalato and her mother Carolyn Hanley for 9 years. She performed in the musicalEVITA-Hampton Playhouse-1986. Student Assistant-Rap N Tap-1987. She studied atBradford Junior College-1991. Studied with Beverly Buckley's Dance Studio, East Brockton, MA-1992. Dance Instruction-Triton Regional H.S.-1990-1993. Top Dancer Award-4 consecutive years. Studied at Sherry Gold's Dance Studio, Brockton, MA-1992. Captain of Cheerleading at Triton H.S. (responsible for choreography of dance routines)-1993. All-Star Cheerleader Award-1992. Dance Instructor-Dance Technics-1993-1999. Instructor at the Studio of Dance Education 1993-1994. Dance Instructor for Maudsley Summer Dance Program-1995. Dance Instructor at Northern Essex Community College-1997/1999-2000. Dance Instructor at Jacqui's Center for Performing Arts. Member Of Still Pointe Dance Company 1993-1998. Taught Hip Hop at Amesbury Middle School-2006-2008. Danced at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio in Boston. Has studied with Adrienne Mincz,Billy Mclaughlin,Jeanette Neill, and Jim Viera. She has received many Choreography Awards. Her choreography has won numerous Overall High Scores at both Regional and National Dance Competitions.

At Rap N Tap, our goal is to offer quality dance programs for ages two to adult. We continue to strive for excellence in all areas of dance. Our aim is to help your child to use his or her imagination, to develop self-discipline and to build self-confidence. We hope to make this dance course an exciting and fun experience that your child will always remember. We also want your child to be proud to belong Amesbury's Premier Dance School, now entering our 29th year of continued success.
